Wisconsin Rapids Police Department

Wisconsin Rapids is a community of over 18,000 citizens in the south east portion of Wood County.  The Police Deparment is a full service 24/7 department consisting of 37 sworn officers.  In addition to normal patrol functions, the department has a detective bureau, school officers, special response team, motorcycle patrol, and bicycle patrol.  Dispatch services are provided by the Wood County combined dispatch center.
